Ally shot our engagement photos in Yosemite and our wedding in Colorado. We initially hired her because we absolutely loved the spirit of her photos. Everyone was so happy and natural in her photos rather than stiff and posed. Little did we know- Ally puts a piece of herself into all of her photos. Her passion and love for what she does spills out of her- you can’t help but be happy while she photographs you. She truly, fully adores what she does and made us look like professional models by simply making us comfortable and ourselves. Even when she was extremely busy, even when we briefly stranded her in Yosemite in the middle of the night (separate story), we never heard her complain. EVER! Ally filled our special day with laughter, excitement, and even friendship. Every little detail that I requested, she went above and beyond for. Throughout the planning process, she (more than once) got on the phone to talk me through questions I had. She made it easy to reach out to her because she was always so incredibly sweet. Once receiving her edits, I had tears in my eyes because my heart was so full! The photos went beyond the expectations that I had and they were high! Everything was perfect and I even received more photos than what was expected - she literally captured every sweet memory for Nathan and I to share for a lifetime. If you're wondering if you should hire Ally as your wedding photographer the answer is yes, a hundred times yes! We cannot compliment her, or the pictures she takes and edits, enough. She worked with us to re-plan our entire wedding when COVID hit. We changed the number of people from 150 to 10. We changed locations. Ally was supportive the entire time. We ended up having our small wedding in Aspen and the day of our wedding both Glenwood Springs and Independence Pass was closed. Ally literally drove down a sketchy dirt road, adding drive time and nuisance to her trip, just to get to us to shoot our special day. When I say we cannot compliment her enough, I mean it. She made our dreams come true, and she made posing for pictures the most comfortable thing in the world. She really is the full package. I cannot wait to get her pictures printed to hang in our home forever!

THE BEST! Your search is over. There is no better, more personable photographer. We had been searching for photographers in Colorado and she was the only one who gave us a personal response. She took the time to get to know us over the phone and made me feel more excited for the big day. That same energy showed up (on time) to our wedding day! While we really didn’t have anything planned she was full of ideas! During our ceremony she made us feel so comfortable (as though she was a long time friend). Our photos turned out so great! “I researched a ton of photographers for my wedding and for the price and quality that I wanted, ABecksCaptures was by far the best. I knew exactly the style of photos I wanted and I wasn't having any luck. Finally I came across some photos, honestly don't even know how but by the grace of God I found Ally. Absolutely breathtaking. Ally truly has a gift and an eye for photography. Not only are her pictures absolutely gorgeous, she has a natural ability to interact with the bride and groom as well as the bridal party to make them feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I found Ally by a google search after striking out on the knot (before she was on the knot) . I was looking for a certain style of photo with warm hues and emphasis on the natural lighting, but was having trouble finding a photographer who did it for a reasonable price and who didn’t over do it, until I found Ally! When I reached out to her, she was super excited and engaging, which always makes me feel good when booking a vendor.

She was so amazing. The day of our wedding she got a flat tire at the end of the wedding venue road (like 3 miles uphill) and didn’t even let it affect the way she photographed our wedding day. Luckily one of the facility workers gave her a ride up but somehow she made it all work out without even a wrinkle and was still on time. I’m confident that this gal can help you overcome any potential catastrophe after seeing how well she handled this situation! Obviously you hope the day goes by without a hitch but having people there who you trust to be able to work it out without a ton of drama is so great. Ally is the perfect wedding photographer and I’m so glad we found her. She’s super responsive and easy to communicate with.
